October Goals
Here we are the last quarter of 2016. Seems utterly impossible! I love October as much as I love September. The changing leaves, cool mornings, warm afternoons, bonfires, and trick-or-treating. October is pretty fabulous. I just have to say that I truly love living in the Midwest with our very distinct seasons. Each season brings something new and I find something to love about the change.
Just a reminder if you haven’t been following along: This year I am breaking down my resolutions into (hopefully) attainable monthly goals. The first week of each month I am going to update you on how I did the previous month and what I hope to accomplish during the current month. My September Goals have been updated with what I was able to accomplish.
A new month also means a look back at last month’s Instagram posts. This is one of my favorite parts of this goal series. It is fun to look back and see what was happening in The Kitchenarium over the last month. However this month I am skipping it since I have hardly had time to write this post.
October Goals:
- Drink more water (always my goal)
- Get in 30 miles
- Read 3 books
- Date night with my hubs
- Host a dinner party
- Have a bonfire
- Not miss a single workout
edit: October was rough and I did not achieve any of my goals 🙁
There is admin stuff I want to work on but honestly this month is going to be bonkers. My husband is running for a local office and it crunch time before the election. All free time will be spent doing campaign related stuff.
I did get in two books last month The Gunslinger, by Stephen King and Burn the fat, feed the muscle by Tom Venuto. Two very different books 😉 I am trying to blaze through Stephen King’s Dark Tower series and am LOVING it so far. Tom’s book was a great way to help me learn how to properly refuel after workouts. If you are interested in that I would recommend you check it out.
Let me know your goals in the comments or shout it out to me on social media. Sign up for my email newsletter to stay up to date on all things The Kitchenarium. I hope your Fall is off to a great start!
